Lance Turnley is the creator of offroadexplorer.com and Adventure Bike contributing editor for Trailzone magazine. He published Australias first personal watercraft magazine and later went on to work at Australasian Dirt Bike Magazine and contributed to Dirt Action and other publications.

Having 37 years of dirt bike riding under his belt and work for the country’s biggest 4WD magazine for a couple of years the thought of long distance off-road motorcycle touring had a lot of appeal. After doing some online research he found there were no dual-sport motorcycle-specific sites in Australia. This web site was born out of the lack of dedicated dual sport information online for the Australian market.

A longtime freelance graphic designer and video/DVD producer who has worked with many leading Aussie dirt bike industry clients Lance will be building the site by surveying routes, filming and writing travel stories, adventure bike reviews and related articles for Trailzone magazine.
