The Plan

The riders briefing at the new AdventureMoto.com.au headquarters at the front of Sydney Hills Caravan Park, 269 New Line Road, Dural at 8am Saturday 8th October. We will be departing at 9am with the aim of being at Wyangala Dam before dark. This of course depends on the groups progress with breakdowns etc. and departing between 9 and 10am on the Sunday returning via Lithgow. The rest is transport home.

To participate in the ride you must start with the group from Dural and attend the riders meeting. Trip notes will be handed out at the riders meeting.

Cost

This year there will be an entry fee to cover insurance costs but we hope to keep the costs as low as possible. Once details are finalised you will be forwarded an entry form with details.

Accomodation

We will be camping at Wyangala Dam State Park. We have reserved six powered camp sites together and we will have a 3 x 6 metre Quikshade at the site. When booking please tell reception that you are with the Off Road Explorer group and we are in the Kookaburra site. Each powered site is $20 each (for 2 adults plus $10 for one extra) and unpowered sites along side are $15 each. You must book and pay direct to the Wyangala Waters State Park (02) 6345 0877. This is a self sufficent ride so bring everything you need to eat, cook and sleep comfortably so bring all your own camping gear.

Support Vehicle

Our sponsor AdventureMoto.com.au will be providing a support vehicle with trailer. This is for breakdowns or medical emergencies only. The vehicle will not be available to carry extra luggage. This is an adventure ride.
